On Thursday, April 17, for Th3, The Third Thursday, Jen Comfort of She Takes The Cake installed an interactive cupcake mural and cookie mosaic at Delavan Art Gallery as a promotion for her cake-making services, for which we were having a free drawing to win. The event was a delicious success! With an approximate 90 people attending throughout the evening, all 108 cupcakes were gone by the end of the night and I think that's proof of how good they tasted! For those of you who couldn't be there (aka "little one"), here's what the night looked like:

In addition to the cupcakes, writer Jennifer Pashley presented her "feelthy fiction" (as I heard it called) as part of the Stone Canoe Writers Series
Overall a great night!

What a great event! I wish I could have been there in person but at least I got a taste of it here (no pun intended). I can't get over the cupcake mosaic. It's amazing what you can make out of all sorts of things, obviously even food. I didn't know what to expect but it looks like it came out wonderfully. The cookie mosic was beautiful as well and what a unusual piece of art. Art you can eat! Did you end up eating that one to? Not only that but there was a poetry reading as well, sounds like a wonderfully busy evening. I look forward to seeing what else you've been up to.
