Syracuse now has a public art ordinance. It was passed July 12, 2007 (date the mayor signed it). What does this mean?
The ordinance specifies that it's purpose is to facilitate and encourage Public Art in the City of Syracuse by creating a stream lined application and review process.
For more info, read an article by the post standard HERE Note: If the link doesn't work, the Post-Standard has taken the article down. You can visit the 40 Below Public Arts group HERE
This could be a really good thing!
